IoTDataset.com is an independent, non-commercial volunteer research project that helps researchers find IoT datasets and verify their original sources. The site and its hosting provider may record limited request data, including an IP address, request time, requested path, response status, referrer, and browser information, to deliver and secure the service, prevent abuse, and diagnose faults. A first-party session cookie supports security, rate limits, view-count controls, and administration; it normally ends with the browser session, while server-side session data is configured for a one-hour lifetime. Your analytics choice is stored in your browser under iotdataset_analytics_consent_v1 until you change it or clear site data. Google Analytics loads on each page in advanced consent mode. Until you select Accept, and after you select Decline, analytics storage remains denied and Google receives limited cookieless measurements for aggregate reporting and modeling. These measurements may include the page path without query parameters, page title, timestamp, referrer, browser or device information, consent state, and technical values generated by the tag. Selecting Accept enables first-party analytics cookies and identifiers used to distinguish visits. Advertising storage, advertising user data, personalization signals, and Google signals remain disabled, and the site configures analytics cookies to expire within 90 days. You can use Privacy choices in the footer to change your selection; choosing Decline returns analytics storage to denied and requests deletion of first-party analytics cookies, while cookieless measurement continues. Hosting services, content-delivery services, and Google may process limited technical data in different countries under their own terms. Messages sent to info@iotdataset.com are used to answer the request and kept only as long as needed for follow-up, security, or dispute records. You may use that address to request access, correction, deletion, or objection where applicable, or to report data sent by a child. The project uses secure connections, access controls, secure cookies, restricted browser permissions, and a content security policy, but no internet service can guarantee complete security. This notice may change when the project changes its services or data practices.
