AllWISE Infrared Sky Survey - WISE All-Sky Data Release

Overview

The AllWISE Data Release merges data from all cryogenic and post-cryogenic phases of NASA’s Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) to provide a uniform, all-sky view in the mid-infrared. It is one of the cornerstone datasets for infrared astronomy and large-scale sky surveys.

Data Contents

• Image Atlas: 18,240 calibrated FITS image sets at 3.4, 4.6, 12, and 22 microns.
• Source Catalog: Positions, apparent motions, and fluxes for more than 747 million objects detected on the Atlas Images.
• Ancillary metadata including quality flags, profile-fit photometry, and extended-source indicators.
