Summer Jute Environmental IoT Sensor Dataset — Bangladesh
Catalog Summary
"5,235 rows and 10 columns of jute environmental measurements and cultivation context from Dhaka; the released table has no observation timestamp."
Catalog Notes
Overview
The publisher describes measurements from an ESP32-based summer-jute monitoring platform in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Measured structure
The inspected CSV contains 5,235 data rows and 10 columns, with no empty cells or exact duplicate rows. Temperature, Humidity, Rainfall and Soil_moisture vary. Location, Season, Type, Sowing, Growth and Harvest are constant across this release. Rainfall contains binary values, not a verified rainfall depth. The raw Sowing header has a trailing space.
Interpretation
The file contains no timestamp or observation-date column. Sowing, Growth and Harvest give cultivation-period context rather than a timestamp for each measurement. Regular sampling, chronological ordering and time-based forecasting splits cannot be established from this table alone. The single crop/location context also limits claims about cross-crop or geographic generalization.
