Individual Household Electric Power Consumption — One Home Minutely Load [2,075,259 records]
Abstract
"Residential smart-home power dataset with 2,075,259 one-minute measurements from a French household over 47 months. TXT/CSV-style tabular format. Used for load forecasting, NILM, and energy behavior analysis."
Description
Overview
This dataset contains one-minute electricity measurements from a single household in Sceaux, France, collected between December 2006 and November 2010. It is one of the most widely used public residential energy datasets for demand forecasting, appliance-load studies, and smart-home energy analytics.
The archive includes whole-home electrical quantities and three sub-metering channels, making it useful for both aggregate consumption modeling and finer-grained household activity analysis. Its long duration and high temporal resolution make it especially valuable for time-series benchmarking.
Column Schema
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Date | Measurement date. |
| Time | Measurement time. |
| Global_active_power | Household global active power in kilowatts. |
| Global_reactive_power | Household global reactive power in kilowatts. |
| Voltage | Minute-averaged voltage in volts. |
| Global_intensity | Minute-averaged current intensity in amperes. |
| Sub_metering_1 | Kitchen energy sub-metering in watt-hours. |
| Sub_metering_2 | Laundry room energy sub-metering in watt-hours. |
| Sub_metering_3 | Water-heater and air-conditioner sub-metering in watt-hours. |
