Overview
The REFIT Electrical Load Measurements dataset provides raw and cleaned residential electricity consumption data from 20 households in the United Kingdom. It includes whole-home aggregate demand and appliance-level measurements, making it a strong benchmark for smart-home energy analytics.
The cleaned release is especially useful for machine learning because time corrections and major measurement spikes were addressed before publication. The dataset has become a standard choice for load disaggregation, appliance usage profiling, and household demand studies.
