Abstract
"Comprehensive smart home dataset with 1,048,575 rows and 31 columns including timestamp, device states (TV, oven, lights, fridge) and activity labels for machine learning applications."
Description
Large-scale smart home dataset containing 1,048,575 rows and 31 columns of IoT device data collected from residential environment. Dataset includes timestamp information and device states for TV, oven, office light, fridge, bedroom light, kitchen light, bathroom light, with activity labels serving as classification target.
Dataset has been tested with multiple machine learning algorithms including Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-nearest neighbors (KNN), Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest using 70-30 train-test split methodology.
Originally sourced from Mendeley Data and preprocessed by Morgan State University researchers, funded by US National Science Foundation (NSF) for machine learning applications in smart home environments.
